The Library of Glissant Studies is a collective project which would not be possible without the help and support of dozen of dedicated individuals and institutions across the world. Our team aim at developing researches in the field of Glissant Studies by indexing information, and facilitating collaborations between scholars, students, and universities.
Dominique Aurélia is Associate Professor of English at the Université des Antilles (UA) in Martinique where she teaches Caribbean and American literature. She is also the Vice-President for International Affairs. In March 2018 she organized an international colloquium dedicated solely to the work of Édouard Glissant, “Édouard Glissant: Radiance and Obscurity,” with Alexandre Leupin and Jean-Pierre Sainton. She published numerous articles about Caribbean literature and postcolonial theories: “Trinidad, une société en voie de décréolisation ?” (Presses Universitaires Bordeaux 2005); “Wide Sargasso Sea/ The Autobiography of My Mother” (Editions L’Harmattan 2009); “In search of a third space” (Small Axe, Duke University 2011); “Dislocations textuelles et reconfigurations identitaires dans Humus de Fabienne Kanor” (Archipélies 2012); “La poétique du paysage chez Derek Walcott” (Vertigo 2012); “Voix du Sud : étude de trois autobiographies de femmes esclaves” (Transatlantica, revue française d’études américaines, Université de Toulouse 2013) ; “La poétique du chancellement dans l’oeuvre d’Edwidge Danticat” (Cambridge Scholars Publishing 2015).
