The Library of Glissant Studies is a collective project which would not be possible without the help and support of dozen of dedicated individuals and institutions across the world. Our team aim at developing researches in the field of Glissant Studies by indexing information, and facilitating collaborations between scholars, students, and universities.
Mathieu Glissant is a Ph.D. candidate and a lecturer at Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne University. He teaches also philosophy in a high school. He directed several documentaries, and he founded a film production agency: "Saison Unique" (2008). He co-directed with Yves Billy "Édouard Glissant, la créolisation du monde" (Prod. Auteurs associés, France Télévisions, 2010) for the French collection "Empreintes" . In the 52min documentary, Edouard and Mathieu Glissant travel back to Martinique to visit the important places of E. Glissant's youth. Mathieu adapted the short-story of Nabokov in a short fiction movie "Ada or demons" (2014). As the manager the Film Department at the Institut du Tout-monde, he organizes workshops with high school students from French Guyana, and he helps organize a Film program in Avignon ("Les écrans du Tout-monde"). He participated in the 2017 Nikon Film Festival. Mathieu is LoGS's aesthetic and technical advisor as well as a contributor for multimedia archives
